Amalfi Coast Day Tour on Tripadvisor

The Amalfi Coast Nightlife, dancing with the waves!

Take a look at what the Amalfi Coast has to offer after a day sunbathing!

Positano, Dancing on the Rocks

Nightlife on the Amalfi Coast tends to gravitate around the glamorous seaside town of Positano. Holidaymakers have an excuse to stay up until morning, dining in one of Positano’s sea edge restaurant‘s, drinking in a series of bars and cafes, and dancing at Music on The Rocks, the discotheque on Spiaggia Grande.

A night on the town in Positano

When in Positano, stop off at Buca di Bacco for an aperitif, served on the patio facing the beach where you might find yourself brushing shoulders with the stars of the small and big screen. Clients who decide to stay on for dinner, are accommodated in the terrace restaurant.

Other venues include Le Terrazze restaurant, a favorite among V.I.P watchers , and the Chez Black and Le Tre Sorelle restaurants, where customers are served at tables looking onto the beach.

If your idea of a good night out is far from the crowds, you’ll love Palazzo Murat: a historic hotel occupying a restored 18th century villa.
Aperitifs and dinners are served in the hotel’s garden, illuminated by a thousand candles.

Towards the beach of Fornillo, you’ll find Next 2: a restaurant and wine bar with a panoramic terrace. Famous for its minimalist interiors and lounge and jazz music, Next 2 stays open until the early hours during summer.

At midnight, make your way to Music on the Rocks, Positano’s only disco, on a cliff edge terrace, within steps of the sea.

Dancing with the stars

The Amalfi Coast’s most famous night club is located in Praiano. Created inside a natural cave, almost at sea level, Africana first opened in 1962.

After being closed for some years, the discotheque where The Platters once performed, has reopened and retained the same magical atmosphere.
